NEWS

Breaking news - I entered some work into the Goldsmiths' Craft and Design Council Annual Awards and totally unexpectedly, I have been invited to the awards ceremony as a winner! I have no idea which award I have won as it is kept secret until the actual awards on the 3rd March 2025. I will keep you posted on how I do.

I have been chosen by New Ashgate Gallery, Farnham to be one of a group of 'Rising Stars' for 2025. Rising Stars is "a nationally curated platform that champions early-career makers. The programme provides emerging talent with their first professional exhibition, offering an unparalleled opportunity to connect with collectors and showcase their work. For collectors, Rising Stars is an exclusive chance to discover and invest in the next generation of talent, contributing to the future of British craft and design."

The reward for being chosen, is to exhibit alongside the other talented makers at New Ashgate The exhibition runs from 15th March until 26th April 2025.

My first fair of 2025 is the Cultural Enterprises conference and trade fair where I will be exhibiting along with the nine other talented craftspeople with Design Nation. Their annual conference at the ACC Liverpool 12th - 13th March, brings 'together commercial knowledge, experience and best practice from across the arts, heritage and cultural sector".

My first retail craft fair is at Cheltenham Town Hall with the lovely people at Craft Festival.  The fair runs from  Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd March, 10-5pm Fri & Sat and 10-4pm Sun. Tickets booked in advance are the best value.

I will be returning to Handmade Oxford which is held at Waterperry Gardens. The fair runs from Thurs 12 – Sat 14 June 10am-5pm with VIP entries being allowed entry from 9.30am.

"Over 150 UK-based makers present an exquisite array of fine arts and crafts, including jewellery, fashion, textiles, ceramics, glass, furniture, sculpture and stationery. You can engage in craft workshops and insightful demonstrations. Immerse yourself in the delightful ambiance of Waterperry Gardens while enjoying live music by local musicians and savouring artisanal food."
